The bad news?

The best film of the year, The Brothers Bloom, has left Tulsa. You snoozed, you loozed.

...and I still need to see Up.

Two intriguing, acclaimed films hit the AMC today.

Rudo y Cursi teams up the two male stars and the co-writer of Y Tu Mama Tambien in a comedy drama involving brothers and soccer.



and Easy Virtue, a filming of the Noel Coward play starring Jessica Biel and the on-fire Kristin Scott Thomas (who tore it up last year in Tell No One and I've Loved You So Long...).

On Wednesday, June 24, the Circle is putting on a free outdoor showing of Rumble Fish on the Green at 3rd and Cincinnati. No, it is not the greatest film, but it was shot in Tulsa, and the price is right!

Films still showing I recommend, from least to best, include The Hangover, Drag Me to Hell, State of Play, and Star Trek.

The dollar film has two movies I'd love to catch, The Soloist and Sunshine Cleaning.

There are good movies around, so you have no excuse to rot your brain watching Land of the Lost or The Proposal!
