Catch the Sun Before It is Gone / Here It Comes / Up in Smoke and Gone / Catch the Sun
Hey, it is Movie Friday!
And whadyaknow, there's some stuff I still need to see!
The new film that perks up my ears is 12, a restyling of 12 Angry Men by the great Russian director Nikita Mikahlkov (An Unfinished Piece for the Player Piano, Burnt by the Sun).
It is at the Circle, and due to some wacky scheduling, I only have one night to catch it (Thursday), but oh, I'll be there.
Otherwise, yes, my own personal crazy schedule means I still need to see The Hangover, Drag Me to Hell, and Up.
Great films I recommend include Duplicity, State of Play, Star Trek, and, especially, the divine The Brothers Bloom.
